Hana Tsuchiya (槌屋 華, Tsuchiya Hana) is an esper and a former member of Claw who was part of the upper echelon called "Scar".
Appearance[]
Tsuchiya has bobbed black hair that flares to either side, forming a bell shape. She has prominent lips and heavy eyebrows and bears a scar at the top of her right cheek. Her body is rather muscular, and she wears a light tank top over a black long-sleeved shirt, light pants, and plain black sneakers. Her bust is more prominent in the anime.
Personality[]
Tsuchiya is a confident, strong-willed, and quite an honorable woman who acknowledges Mob as a gentleman, since he initially refused to attack her due to her being a woman, and encourages him to attack her with everything he's got, as she wanted to have a fair fight with him.
She seems close to Mukai since she is stirred into action when Mob destroys Mukai's dolls. She does not take kindly to being called "auntie".
Plot[]
7th Division Arc[]
After Tsuchiya learned that Mob had defeated Koyama, Terada, and Mukai, she picked a fight with him. She landed at least three punches right in his face, but was soon caught off-guard when he started crying. Mob was reluctant to fight her, but she assured him that she was looking for a fair fight, so he smashed her through four consecutive walls.
World Domination Arc[]
Tsuchiya later joined the team led by Arataka Reigen to challenge Suzuki, along with other former 7th Division upper echelons, but they are defeated. Later on, she is one of the Scars that helps Ritsu fight Shimazaki but he then defeats all of them until Mob shows up with Reigen. After Mob tells everyone that they'll be in his way, she watches his fight with Suzuki from a distance. Mob then comes towards the group and tells everyone to evacuate the area so they won't be caught in Suzuki's explosion. Later on she, Mukai and Muraki are at restaurant, she asks Muraki what he'll do now, he tells her that he's thinking about studying under Reigen until she remarks that he's not very good with people.
Powers & Abilities[]
Tsuchiya specializes in hand-to-hand combat, being one of Scar's finest combatants. Having trained to achieve an excellently athletic body, she combines her build with her psychic martial arts techniques to make her entire body a weapon. Damaging her is not an easy task, and she apparently has no blind spot.[1]

Etymology[]
- The surname Tsuchiya means "hammer" (槌) (tsuchi) and "roof, house, shop, dealer, seller" (屋) (ya).
- The given name Hana mean "splendor, flower, petal" (華) (hana).

- Tsuchiya is from an ancient dojo [1] where it is presumed she learned the Hardening Qigong technique.
