Plot[]
Spring of Youth Arc[]
Taro is introduced accompanying his lover, Hanako, to see the apparent psychic Reigen. A ghost has haunted Hanako in her dreams, and Reigen offers to help her by exorcising the ghost. Taro is immediately suspicious of Reigen's "exorcism courses" and conflicts with and questions Reigen as the three head to a building where the ghost is. Taro is surprised by the ghost's appearance, and Reigen attempts to exorcise the ghost, Ceiling Crasher with salt. However, that fails. Then, Reigen calls Mob to help with the exorcism. Mob successfully completes the exorcism with Taro in the background.
Separate Ways Arc[]
Taro later talks about Reigen and how Reigen "scammed him".
Etymology[]
- The name Taro means "thick, big, great" (太) (ta) and "son" (郎) (ro).
