Rusty ([KANJI], [ROMANJI]) is a spirit that appears in the REIGEN manga. It first afflicts Roshuto, before moving onto Tome and later Reigen. It is defeated by the Mimic Spirit.

Roshuto claims it had been sacrificed to for many many years to prevent the curse spreading, however, in modern times, nobody does anymore and it has been forced to leave its shrine. The first victim of Rusty was a contruction worker, then a hospital intern, where it eventually found its way to him.
Plot[]
In the REIGEN spin off, Rusty is an evil spirit that is particularly hard to defeat.
Powers & Abilities[]
When it possesses someone, they become extremely unwell, and the curse causes swelling and sickness. Roshuto claims its first victim went mad, and died shortly after possession.
