Muraki (邑機 智弘, Muraki Tomohiro) is an esper and a former member of Claw. He was part of the upper echelon called "Scar".
Appearance[]
Muraki is bald, with a scar on his head and two lines forming a bracket around a dot (mole) in the middle of his forehead.
While a Scar, he wore a turtleneck with big plates on the shoulders. After becoming a part of civilian society he removed the two lines on his forehead and adopted wearing a suit.
Personality[]
Muraki is rather weak-willed and not used to getting called out on his appearance. He seems preoccupied with the idea of contributing to society. Like many members of Claw, he is childish, adapting a costume that he believes to be formidable-looking despite its lack of practical use.
Plot[]
7th Branch Arc[]
Working together with Sakurai, he managed to overpower and capture Teru. Later, however, Reigen dealt him a triple whammy by nullifying his attack, questioning his head decoration and shoulder pads, and telling him to act like an adult. Muraki subsequently learned his lesson.
World Domination Arc[]
Muraki has gotten rid of his shoulder pads. He aids in the battle against Claw. After the battle, he considers tutoring under Reigen, but Mukai and Tsuchiya tell him not to.
Powers & Abilities[]
Muraki is a fairly powerful psychic, and he can knock Teru out in one blow, plus completely overwhelm Ritsu.

Muraki can control his out-of-body experience to produce a large number of ethereal clones that are made from the manifestation of his psychic energy.[1] The clones are capable of independent speech and action, and can also pass through solid objects like ghosts, but can be blown away quite easily by anyone with sufficient power.[2] | |||||

Etymology[]
- Muraki means "village, rural community, right village radical (no. 163)" (邑) (mura) and "machine, loom" (機) (ki).
