Go Asahi (朝日豪 Asahi Gō) is an esper and one of the children who was invited to the Awakening Lab.
Appearance[]
Go is a young male teenager with short blond hair; large, half-lidded black eyes; and a small, slender nose. His hair swoops out to the sides in broad spikes.
Go wears a light blue hoodie with light gray tassels; dark blue trousers; light blue socks and white penny loafers. His hoodie bears two images of a burning flame (one large one on the back and a smaller one on the left side of his chest).

History[]
Go was an average person with latent psychic potential until Kenji Mitsuura found and took him to the Awakening Lab. After he was revealed to be an esper with pyrokinetic powers, Go chose to stay at the Awakening Lab to learn how to amplify his abilities even further.
Plot[]
Big Cleanup Arc[]
Go, along with his fellow espers Takeshi Hoshino, Rei Kurosaki and the twin brothers Daichi Shiratori and Kaito Shiratori, were introduced by Kenji Mitsuura to Ritsu Kageyama during a tour of the Awakening Lab. Go had feeble pyrokinetic abilities and was able to briefly create a spark of flame, which failed to impress Ritsu Kageyama.
7th Division Arc[]
Later, Go and his friends were kidnapped by the organization Claw for their psychic powers, intending to brainwash and use them as soldiers. He and his friends manage to escape thanks to Ritsu Kageyama and Arataka Reigen.
Teruki Hanazawa shows up at the Awakening Lab to train him and the other Espers.

Powers & Abilities[]
Go is an esper who specializes in pyrokinesis. His powers are still immature; thus, he's not very powerful compared to other espers, but he's still improving and learning. He continues to improve even more when Teruki Hanazawa becomes a teacher at the Awakening Lab.

Go can use his psychic power to summon fire, though initially, it took considerable effort, and he could hardly ignite the tip of his finger. However, under Teru's tutelage, Go's power has grown considerably (though still quite weak). He was able to combine his powers with Takeshi Hoshino's to make a fiery wall temporarily. | |||||
