"The Older Brother Bows ~Destructive Intent~" is the eighth episode of the Mob Psycho 100 anime adaptation.
Synopsis[]
"Scar" cadre Koyama kidnaps Ritsu after mistaking him for Shigeo, but not before Mob gives him a taste of his power.
Summary[]
Teruki finds Mob and brings him to Ritsu, who has been using his name. Still, as he learns Ritsu is his brother, Teruki decides to leave and not watch the brothers fight. Mob can't believe that Ritsu beat all those guys, but Ritsu explains now that he has psychic powers, he is no longer afraid of him as until now, he was always trying to be friendly and not stress Mob, since he can't protect himself from his psychic powers. Dimple knows he can't win and runs away, while Ritsu attacks Mob. Seeing him using his powers, Mob congratulates him. Mob goes and apologizes to the beaten guys, who asked him to grovel, and he does.
Yusuke had broken into Awakening Lab and obtained info on Shigeo Kageyama, who they believed to be Ritsu, and had sent Koyama after him. As Megumu confirms that Shigeo is in front of him, he goes and attacks Ritsu. Megumu proceeds to beat everyone up and make them grovel before him. Megumu attempts to leave with Ritsu. Mob starts fighting him, but using his psychic powers, Megumu easily breaks through Mob's barrier. He starts beating him badly, and Ritsu attempts to stop him, but he also gets beaten. Mob's animosity reaches 100%, and he starts beating Megumu, who can no longer break Mob's barrier. Megumu still stands and uses his trump ability Energy Bomb, but that still has little effect on Mob. The gangs realize that Mob is the White T. Poison and start cheering for him. Megumu takes out something from his pocket, and the gangs think it is a knife. Mob blocks it, but it is a special spray that Megumu sprays on Mob that makes him fall unconscious. Having seen his face, Megumu decides to kill all the gang members, but Mob stands up, making Megumu realize he can't beat him, so he grabs Ritsu and escapes. The gang starts thanking Mob for saving them, but Teruki shows up and tells them to stand back as it is still dangerous to be around Mob.
Mob wakes up at Teruki's place, who tells him that that guy was from Claw, an organization started by dangerous espers with a membership of over a hundred. They take young espers and brainwash them, making them their own soldiers. They wonder why they are after Ritsu, and Dimple guesses that it is due to Awakening Lab and that information was likely leaked from there. Going there, they see the place was attacked and find Kenji Mitsuura. Questioning him, they realize he invited Shigeo, but Ritsu pretended to be him and that the other espers from Awakening Lab were also kidnapped.
Megumu and Yusuke lead Ritsu and the other espers through a forest to a secret facility.
