"Exaltation ~I've Obtained Loss~" is the seventh episode of the Mob Psycho 100 anime adaptation.
Synopsis[]
As thugs from other middle schools hear about White T. Poison and make moves to defeat him, Ritsu meets Dimple and gradually learns about and improves his psychic powers. Due to his newfound power, he makes Kamuro pay for his dubious deeds.
Summary[]
The rumors of White T. Poison defeating the shadow leader Teruki spread, and gang leaders from various schools decide to take him on. Meanwhile, Ritsu is surprised to see Dimple, who explains how he managed to come back, but he is much weaker now and can't even enter the house. Dimple explains that since Ritsu can see him, he has psychic powers and wants to team up with him to make him stronger than Mob. He manages to trick him and let him enter Ritsu's body, but in such a weak state, he cannot control Ritsu. With Dimple controlling the output, Ritsu uses his psychic powers, and his strength grows. At school, Shinju and Ritsu keep framing delinquents for stealing and being perverts.
One day, a few of them face Ritsu, knowing that he framed them, but using Dimple's help, Ritsu efficiently manages to defeat them with psychic powers. Teruki shows up, saying that he reminds him of his old self. Dimple tries to tell Ritsu to run, but wanting to test himself, Ritsu decides to take on Teruki, but in an instant, realizes he is weaker than him. As the wind blows, Teruki grabs his wig to hold it as Ritsu and Dimple see an opportunity to escape.
A woman invites Mob to show him an expensive vase, but tricks him into breaking it and then, along with her friend, demands Mob pay its full price. Arataka comes looking for Mob and quickly understands the situation and acts as if they injured him, did psychological damage, and ruined his suit, asking them for the same amount they want from Mob. The con artists tell Arataka that breaking the vase means a curse will fall upon them, but Arataka comments on a haunting spirit he removed earlier and will send after them. They start laughing, but then the lights break, and paintings start falling, scaring them. Later, Arataka congratulates Mob for scaring them, but Mob explains it was the cursed spirit he sent after them.
Shinji and Ritsu keep going after Tenga, but one day a gang leader from another school shows up at the school's gate. Ritsu takes him on and beats him. While going home, Shinji gets beaten by different gang members, wondering if he was White T. Poison. As he gets beaten the next day, Shinji also stops attending school. One day, Ritsu gets surrounded by multiple gangs wondering if he was White T. Poison. Teruki sees them and realizes Ritsu is pretending to be Mob, so he goes to call him.
Meanwhile, another man sees the upcoming fight, commenting that he found him, and decides to watch the fight first. Ritsu takes on all of the gang members and easily beats them. As he finishes them, Mob shows up, asking Ritsu what he is doing.
