I do see on what you say and i, whole-heartedly, thank you for taking time to answer. It was well said. What i like to pick up on is the fact that reigens own intentions that are disclosed to us as a "reader". It is a insite on how he thinks and how he does certain things to his own benefit. Not to stir the pot but in my experience he seems to things with his own personal gain in mind (Very few and far in between examples). He isn't as perfect of a character (and in a way, makes him seem more realistic), but hes the kind of inpulsive, dive in head first that makes him so iconic. On a seperate note, i have mentioned before that i've heard claims of him taking advantage of a woman which is in the canon (i'd have to look up on that again). There are just some radical things that hes done to wound his used-to-be perfect image where i was questioning if he was even a good person anymore. My views on the character have healed mostly but its just the lingering doubt that surfaces once in a while. At least some people have traits where its more exceptable and some have even turned over a new leaf (ex:Teru) not saying they dont have negative traits though. Reigen hasnt changed and is firmly in place to when he has been. Theres no growth. I've lost my train of thought and i guess this post is long enough so ill stop here without a proof-read.

Glad to hear it. (sorrry for the really late reply) You are a gem, this is exactly what i wanted to hear so your ok luv haha. Ive kind of recovered even though there are shorts that reported him to take advantage of a women canotically (which i havent seen) i could link it if anyone wants. But anyways, yeah, You love him or you hate him. I do keep in mind that in the reigen spin-off (spoilers) serizawa got the crap beat out of him when he was thrown against the wall and reigen didnt even bat a blonde eyelash at it (end of spoilers) it kind of betrayed that he was choosing an option that was best for everyone. hmmm, im just thinking.

I think that the relization I made about Reigen has messed up my view of him. (tldr)

So it all started when i was hearing the drama cd scenes of the mp100 OVA II. I was a SeriRei shipper so i was dehydrated for some bit more interactions. As I come to the end of the masterlist of the translations of the audio scenes, it hit me how shitty reigen was being. Reigens great and all and we all stan! but i just let myself think about the stuff hes done. Now that i take off the rose-colored glasses and looked at the character as a whole, i am now seeing how....well... not so likeable he is. It then went into the way i drew the ship and i didnt feel confident in why i think he should be paired with anybody and i see that in the ova audio scenes. Serizawa and Reigens dynamic is not so good so far and it CAN become good but, isnt there some of that in every relationship with Reigen?? What im saying is that there are more con than pros. I guess im typing this so someone somehow proves me wrong and make me see him how I used to.
