So, let me preface this by saying that I think Tsubomi is a cool person in terms of pure story. Super well done too. She's a sweet and considerate yet quirky and relatable character who did a good job at being Mob's primary motivator; and I don't think any of use were surprised when she rejected him in the finale. It's been obvious for the entire series that she just hasn't been holding a candle for him. But over, yeah, she's a cool person.
That said, what's with all these weird takes on the finale? I'm seeing them everywhere.
Stuff like
"Yooo Tsubomi's a GANGSTER for waiting on Mon even through the storm. What a freaking G, dooog"
Or
"Tsubomi's actually SUCH a bro. She actually waited for Mob. I can like totally see her being a wingman later down the line."
These are some of the dumbest takes I've ever heard. Dude, she waited on a bench. Yes, it was amidst a deadly looking storm, and as I said, she's a cool person. So God bless her for waiting. But amidst all the life risking labors of love performed by Hanazawa, Ritsu, and Reigen, it really wasn't THAT impressive, much less impressive enough for all these weirdos to be talking about how much of a "gangster wingman" Tsubomi is. I'm getting big simp energy from this.
"HEY LOOK AT ME! I'M SO BLOWN AWAY BY THE GIRL CHARACTER DOING THE SMALL BUT GOOD THING! BUT IT'S A BIG DEAL TO ME CUZ I'M SUCH A GREAT FREAKING GUY! SOMEONE PLEASE TOUCH MY PP"
Again man, I like Tsubomi. But these losers need to stop it. She didn't do THAT much. Much less anything to overshadow the awesome stuff Mob's friends did for him. Ya'll need to chill on your simping. It's super annoying.
